One of the most exciting aspects of visiting a new region is the chance to discover new things, and open your mind to new possibilities and experiences.
Last month, from May 25 to 27, 2023, our lovely northern region played host to the Alberta Chambers of Commerce Annual General Meeting. The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, a longtime partner of Balsom Communications, gratefully accepted our assistance in putting together a Host Day event. Our team was dedicated to working its magic and creating a “wow” experience!
The Summer Fun Lunch at Surekha’s on the Snye was the first destination. The guests could taste the delectable food, enjoying the patio, the view and the amazing décor while listening to Matty Parlee play popular summer hits.
A private tour of the Suncor’s Base Plant provided the visitors with a wonderful opportunity to extend their perspectives. To complement the tour, we shared our local and unique touch, mini donuts and bits from Ginger’s Bannock. To conclude the day, everyone had fun at The Alley for a fun night back in the 80’s! Arcade, bowling, laser tag, karaoke & music with Dan Tulk and the Chambermen, the special guests broke out of their routine and explored this amazing venue that is The Alley!
Once again, YMM showed visitors our unique region and how we can manage to live up in the North and still have so much fun!
