Coffee break with Balsom

If you could go on a cross-country road trip with a famous person, dead or alive, who would it be?

Kerri Johnson, Marketing and Communications Manager:
Hear me out: Fozzie Bear. No, he’s not a person, but I really can’t imagine someone more fun or adorable to do a road trip with.

Dawn Booth, Editor in Chief of Your McMurray Magazine and YMM Parent:
My mom because I consider her to be famous. She is the secretary at my old high school and has been there since the eighties. So, everyone from then to now knows who she due to her kind and humorously loving demeanour. I miss her so much. I moved to the other side of the country, and though we have flown back and forth, we have never ventured the road trip. It would be a riot!

Kelsey Stanley, Marketing and Communications Coordinator:
Sidney Crosby, which isn’t a surprise! A cross-country hockey trip would be amazing!

Andrew Johnstone, Lead Designer:
Alfred the Great, but he has to buy the snacks.

Steve Auty, Special Projects Coordinator
Anthony Bourdain.

Emma Carter, Accounts Representative & Special Projects Manager:
I’d love to sound really sophisticated and say some writer or artist, but anyone I can think of would just get on my nerves. This might sound basic, but I’d have to go with Miley Cyrus. I think we’d have a great time.
