Your McMurray Magazine has announced the winners of this year’s Best of YMM – Readers’ Choice awards.
Presented by Casman Group of Companies and the Tourism team at Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo Economic Development & Tourism, the process from nominations to voting brought in more than 7,000 responses.
“Now, more than ever, celebrating the businesses and organizations in our region that are providing exemplary goods, services, and experiences is such a joy,” said Krista Balsom, president of Balsom Communications. “Our region is full of resiliency and excellence, and that’s something we love to shine a light on.”
In the coming weeks, with COVID-19 protocols in place, recipients will receive their awards which they can proudly display.
“The constant COVID restrictions have turned the people of our industry sectors into community chameleons. The intent to bring back the Best of YMM was to champion all who work tirelessly for the betterment of our livelihoods,” said Dawn Booth, editor-in-chief of Your McMurray Magazine. “We want to thank our readers and residents for taking the time to cheer on their favourites. As we approach more setbacks, let’s keep the hype going. I know we will all continue to support where we can.”
